Who is Tzidkat Rashbi? What’s special about this
project? How it works The
Rashbi Advantage Who can register? How much does it cost to register?
How do I know that the information is real and
accurate? Which parts of my profile do other people see? What do I do if
I want more information about a the individual? Can I see a picture
of the person I’m interested in? Do I really want a computer making my
Shidduch? Who is Tzidkat Rashbi? Tzidkat Rashbi is
an organization from Tzfat, Israel who volunteers in helping others. Amongst all
our projects is finding Shidduchim for frum Jewish singles.
What’s special about this project? The main
feature of this project is the Rashbi database, which is a list of sincere frum
singles looking for Shidduchim. Most prospects have sent in donations or prayers
to Rebbe Shimon Bar Yochai in Meron for a shidduch.
How it works When you apply, you are required
to fill out a profile that includes information about your religious background,
lifestyle, interests, references, description about self and criteria you are
looking for in another person. We than select profiles of potential matches and
send you their profiles for your review. You then “decline” or “accept” the
potential shidduch offer. When two members accept and agree to correspond,
Tzidkat Rashbi forwards their emails to both parties and they can correspond
with each other direct. There is No Browsing of other member profiles.
The Rashbi Advantage There is the S'yata
D'ishmaya of a Shadchan who sees himself as a Shaliach of Hashem. Correspondence
is done by email, saving you time, inconvenience, embarrassment and money. If it
doesn't work out the first time, we try again. What have you lost? It's free.
You decide with whom to correspond. Shadchonis is very time consuming. A
Shadchan has limited resources what he can do for you. But when we offer you a
match and you choose to correspond, you are dedicated to your cause 100% and you
will make your best effort.
Who can register? Tzidkat Rashbi only
registers frum singles who categorize themselves as Shomer Shabbat. They are
Shomer Shabbat, eat only Kosher and willing to follow the laws of Taharat
Hamishpacha.
How much does it cost to register? Nothing.
Registration on the Rashbi is free. There is no fee for this chesed. However, in
accordance with halacha, when a marriage results through Tzidkat Rashbi's
efforts voluntary shadchanus is expected. This project is very time consuming
and costs a lot of money. We expect you to support it.
How do I know that the information is real and accurate? Every single listed on our database must also
list their name and phone number and the name and phone number of their Rabbi.
Nevertheless, despite our sincere efforts, Tzidkat Rashbi cannot take
responsibility for the information. Every individual must verify all information
for himself.
Which parts of my profile do other people see?
We send them the detailed profile you send us. We do not include address,
email or telephone. All responses are kept in strict confidence, only accessible
to us.
What do I do if I want more information about a the
prospect individual? When you agree to correspond with each other,
you will receive corresponding emails. You can than ask all your questions and
request photos of each other. Please be prepared to answer.
Can I see a picture of the person I’m interested
in? The Rashbi does not request photo of our prospects. That is not
a factor in our matchmaking. If you would like to include a photo to be passed
on to a potential match, you are welcome to do so and we will include it in your
profile. That is voluntary.
Do I really want a computer making my Shidduch?
Of course not! But it’s not the computer making the Shidduchim—it’s people.
The actual Shidduchim are brought about the Shadchanim who carefully research
and give serious consideration to each and every Shidduch.
For more information, please feel free to contact us. Your comments
and feedback are important to us.
